I'm Advay Dubey, a senior school student with a deep-rooted passion for music. My journey began at the age of six, when I was handed down a 32-key electronic keyboard that my father used to play in his childhood. That was an inspirational moment and it sparked a seemingly lifelong connection with music.
Driven by deep curiosity and a love for learning, I progressed quickly and completed my Trinity College London Grade 8 Keyboard Exam by the age of 12. It was a big milestone for me, one that reflected the dedication and effort I’d poured into my passion.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, while preparing for my Grade 7 and 8 exams, I realized there was a lack of quality online resources for Trinity keyboard learners. That inspired me to launch my YouTube channel, Fun with Music, where I began uploading performance videos of Trinity-level pieces. The channel quickly became a valuable resource for aspiring musicians worldwide, and it connected me to a global community of learners seeking the same guidance I once needed.
As the channel grew, so did the questions from my viewers, especially about settings, accessories, and how to get the most out of their keyboard. In response, I created a new video series of “how-to” tutorials answering real questions from my viewers. These videos have helped many young learners unlock the full potential of their instruments in a practical and accessible way.
But my passion for music didn’t stop at the keyboard. I’ve taught myself guitar and drums, developing advanced skills in both. My curiosity eventually led me to music production, where I now create and edit tracks using Logic Pro and GarageBand. I’m currently working on a new series of in depth, high-quality tutorials designed to help young musicians start producing their own tracks using Logic Pro.
This website is a space for me to share my story, my experiences, and my passion for music.
Beyond music, I'm equally passionate about automobile engineering and coding. I aspire to become a mechatronics engineer, combining my love for mechanics, electronics, and innovation.
Giving back has always been important to me. I regularly volunteer by performing music for senior citizens and individuals with special needs, and I actively support organizations that use music to bring comfort, joy, and emotional healing to those who need it most.
